There are some expenses associated with joining the troop. First, you’ll need to purchase a full uniform, along with a scout handbook. This usually costs around $100. Second, our campouts and events usually cost around $15/scout (usually for food and/or fees). Third, summer camp and high adventure trips can cost anywhere between $200 (summer camp) to $1200 (Philmont).

While there are expenses in scouting, our troop is dedicated to bringing the scouting experience to anyone, regardless of their financial situation. We own multiple items (such as uniform pieces) that we may be able to donate to you. Additionally, there are many ways for scouts to pay their own way (popcorn sales, our flag program, etc.).
